Lies

Sometimes it's really hard to believe people again.

People who lied to our faces.

Who made us believe in things that never existed.

People who broke promises.

It's kind of scary how vulnerable the human heart is.

We'll just soften at the sound of sweet words.

And we forget all the pain that we went through.

Then, someone lies to us again.

Breaks another promise.

And the hurt we went through last time got doubled.

We stop believing.

We stop giving chanced.

Suddenly, our attitude changes.

Lies ruin lives.

Or maybe it's just us.

Maybe we believe people too easily.

We fail to realize that someone people aren't trust-able.

We fail to realize the people who have really been there for us.

And most of the time, we fail to realize that people are taking advantage of us.

Honestly speaking, I think it's time that all of us moved on to someone new. 

To give ourselves another chance.

To find someone who's going to love us.

Someone who's not going to lie.

Someone who loves us so dearly...

That when they promise a "forever" with us,

They actually mean it.
