I've got so many friends who went through some of the most difficult times of their life, being unable to forget someone they really loved. It's painful, to see someone love another so much that it actually hurts.
Thinking of the past, the laughter shared between a couple. Then coming back to reality and wondering where that disappeared to.
I have died everyday, waiting for you.
We're all wishing for that perfect someone.
Someone who's going to send you long and sweet paragraphed texts.
Someone who's your best friend.
Someone who you can be yourself with.
Someone who's going to hold your hand like it's the warmest thing on a cold winter night.
Someone you'll be able to be with and say, "We've been together for 10 years? It feels like 10 days."
Someone who's going to grow old with you and still kiss you on the cheek while watching the sunset.
Time has brought your heart to me.
It's scary how it's so hard to forget someone.
Being unable to erase memories from your mind.
Unable to look into someone's eyes and think, "You're nothing but a mere friend."
If only we were all daring enough, to just go up to the person we liked and confessed our feelings for them. Wouldn't things be so much easier for everyone?
"Hey, here's the thing. I like your eyes, your smile. I like the way you talk, I like your personality. I like you. So... be mine?"
And who knows? That person might actually smile and say yes.
Then we'd all be so happy. Being able to be with the person we like and not suffering in silence.
It takes a great amount of courage to admit your feelings to someone.
But asking them to go steady...
Brings bravery to a whole new level.
People normally don't have the courage to say, "I love you"
& actually mean it.
So now, they cheat. "Love ya!" "ily"
They're so much easier to type out... But the meaning behind it is lost.
"ily"
"ily too :-)"
or,
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Get the difference?
We're all too cowardly to tell someone we like that we actually love them because love is such a strong word. But if you actually really like a person and you want them to know how strong your feelings are for them, tell them.
All along, I believed I would find you.
Guys, just tell the girl you love her.
Sit next to her.
Put your arm over her.
Give her your jacket when she's cold.
Hold her hand.
Hug her.
Send her long messages.
Say she's beautiful.
Girls, tell the guy you love him.
Tell him how you feel.
Stop with the make up, he loves you, not the drawings on your face.
No need for skimpy clothing, he's not going to like it.
Be who you are, the girl he actually fell in love with.
Don't try to change yourself.
Put your head on his shoulder.
Tell him he's perfect.
Guys and girls, stop being afraid to take chances.
Like someone? Tell them.
Love someone? Tell them.
Stop saying you're waiting for the right one.
If you're so scared, the right one might actually get past you.
If you want to go steady with someone, just ask and let the answer surprise you.
Stop living life, being afraid of everything because one day, that someone might die and you'll regret not telling them how much you loved them.
Take chances.
...I did let the answer surprise me.
ReplyDeleteHe knew I liked him. And he told me that he liked me too.
But he didn't want to get into a relationship.
Personally, I didn't either. But I want to know why he didn't want to get into a relationship.
Sometimes you tell someone you like them, but that person tells you that he/she doesn't like you, won't you feel sad?
ReplyDelete1st anon- Aww you both like each other! :')
ReplyDelete2nd anon- Better than suffering in silence for a longer period of time right? Face the truth and accept it whether it's bad or good.
True… thanks for the help!:) I appreciate it!
